Background
As according to the Terms of Reference (TOR) and House Rules of GHWP, the term of office of all GHWP office bearers will be around three years commencing from the date of appointment until the next election. As it is the last year of the three-year term of the GHWP Chairmanship by China, a general election will be taken place in the 16th GHWP Meeting in Bali, Indonesia on 8-12 Nov 2011, for the election of new GHWP leadership.

According to the TOR and House Rules, the nomination of each of the GHWP or GHWPTC office bearer [i.e. one GHWP Chair, one GHWP Vice-Chair (Regulatory Authority) and one GHWP Vice-Chair (Industry), one GHWPTC Chair, one GHWPTC Co-Chair (Regulatory Authority) and one GHWPTC Co-Chair (Industry)] requires the support from a minimum of FIVE primary representatives of other GHWP member economies.


Submission of Nomination
Nomination for GHWP and GHWPTC office bearers will require:
i) Completely filled nomination form (Form A or Form B)
ii) Email proof of support from each of the supporter in the nomination form 
iii) A brief CV (maximum 2 pages in A4 size paper) of the nominee
The submission of nomination with the above mentioned documents should reach the GHWP Secretariat at “secretariat@ahwp.info” on or before 23:59pm (GMT+8) on 28 October 2011. Any late submission will not be accepted.

Nomination for WG/STG office bearers will require:
i) completely filled form (Form C)
The submission of nomination form to the GHWP Secretariat before the election at the GHWPTC Meeting in Bali.


Remark
The GHWP Chair has the full authority to review the voting rights and validity of the nominee and the supporters as stated in this form, and to reject any application that cannot fulfill the requirements as stated in the Terms of Reference and House Rules of GHWP, and the instructions as stated in the corresponding nomination form.
