Nomination for GHWPTC Work Group (WG) / Special Task Group (STG)

Office Bearers Election

(Submission Deadline: 7 Nov 2014)

As according to the Terms of Reference (TOR) and House Rules of GHWP, the term of office of all GHWPTC WG/STG office bearers will be around 3 years commencing from the date of appointment until next election. This year is the last year of the three-year term of the GHWPTC WG/STG office bearers. Therefore a general election will be taken place in the coming GHWP Annual Meeting in Seoul, Republic of Korea during 18-21 Nov 2014, for the election of new GHWPTC WG/STG office bearers.

According to the Terms of Reference (TOR) and House Rules of GHWP, each WG/STG shall have one Chair from the Regulatory Authority and one Co-chair from the Industry. GHWPTC WGs and STG include:

 WG1: Pre-market – General MD

WG2: Pre-market – IVDD

WG3: Pre-market – Software as a Medical Device

WG4: Post-market

WG5: Clinical Performance & Safety

WG6: Quality Management System – Audit & Assessment

WG7: Quality Management System – Operation & Implementation

WG8: Standards

WG9: Training

STG (U&N): Special Task Group on UDI & Nomenclature

Nomination for GHWPTC WG/STG office bearers will require:

(i)                A completely filled nomination form (Form C as attached)*

(ii)               A brief CV (maximum 2 pages in A4 size paper) of the nominee

* Proof of support from each supporter in the nomination form is required, with any type of format acceptable, e.g. supporting emails, signatures beside the names of supporters in part 3 of form C, etc.

The submission of nomination with the above mentioned documents should reach the GHWP Secretariat at secretariat@ahwp.info on or before 23:59 (GMT+8) on 7 November, 2014. Any late submissions will not be accepted.

Please note that GHWPTC Chair has the full authority to review the voting rights and validity of the nominees and the supporters as stated in the nomination form, and to reject any applications that cannot fulfill the requirements as stated in the Terms of Reference and House Rules of GHWP, and the instructions as stated in the corresponding nomination form.
